The Marions

This is an entry for contest at Disney Club
I do need to be honest that this is not the best coloring that I can give, but this is already the best effort I can do while coloring it in 4 hours T.T I wish I really have more time, but I was super busy with college stuff ( I haven't finish it yet ( e u e )a)
And now time to get back to my taskkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. OMG why....

It took me a week to think about the story + designing the character, it's a long time since I do it when I have spare time in my college.
it was inspired after I watched the Conjuring.
Yes.. Why do ugly old doll always be a haunted scary creepy thing ._.a
I want to make a little twist about it.

But before, sorry about my bad grammar if it confusing you > u < To be honest, I'm not good at writing a story or even in english.

So here it is,
Once upon a time, there lived brother-sister named Reynaldo Marion and Ivy Marion. They are both orphan. With no place to go. They need to suffering and having a hard time just to feed them self. They live all alone together. They are getting their food from the forest or even by stealing. Reynaldo is 1 years older than her sister, he always take a good care of her, no matter what or how. When he was a little he already learn to steal even to fool others.

Until one day he met 2 adults who fooling other by calling them self a paranormal. They used to fool villagers with ghost. While it's actually only their trick. They do fake exorcism and get money from it. After that, Reynaldo start to learn about their trick and use it for his self. He used her sister as a "medium". He beg her sister to act like she has a psychic power. Since she loved her brother so much, and she know how hard he had been thru, she did all his brother wanted to. And yes, they did well, they get enough money to eat and place to live.

Until the day, where the rumor about haunted doll was spreading around the villagers. They ask the Marions to finish the case. But now they are confused, they never been thru a real exorcism yet. They went into the forest to check out the old creepy house. They were actually scared and hope that the rumor is not true and they can just do a fake exorcism like they always did.

When they are arrived at the house, the haunted doll really appeared. They are frightened, trying to run, but Ivy fell before she reach the door. Her brother Rey already running away first without realising he left his sister back. Ivy was totally scared out until the doll reached her and asked if she were okay. She is getting more afraid while she heard that the doll can talk.

"Don't worry, I'll help you" said the doll
"G-get away from me, let me go, I'm sorry I will not bother you anymore" said Ivy
"Calm down" said the doll
"Please forgive me, I was just here to check out whether the rumor about the haunted doll is true or not, please let me go" said Ivy
"Haunted doll? No, please let me explain" Said the doll

Then the doll tell Ivy about who she is. It's not actually a haunted doll. Her name is Ester, she was being cursed by her own big sis and trapped into the doll body. She was hiding here since everyone tried to burned her down. They all think that the doll was haunted. and now she is here and try to think out how to get back to her normal form. Then Ivy calmed down. The kind heart Ivy wanted to help the doll. So they are together trying to find out how to broke the spell. Reynaldo realised he left her sister and try thelp her, but before he reach the house, he met Ivy holding the doll, Ivy explain it all. But his brother didn't actually wanted to help the doll. But Ivy begged him so much till he can't refuse it anymore. And now it's their journey to find how to broke the spell and saving the doll. They met a lot of trouble, while villagers trying to get them as well, since they think her sister as a witch by keeping the doll with her. and also, the real trouble, Ester's sister who still casing down her sister.


ps: I hope you can still get what I meant, I hope even with poor grammar and english all the judge can still understand my story.

He is actually a genius guy, but he used his brain too much for criminal. Even though he is actually nice, but he need to do everything for her sister and his own life.

She is a very nice girl, she loved to help other. But she was forced to help his brother. She loved her brother so much. Without his brother knowing, she gave spare of her money to people who need it.

Ester:
Age: 25 years old
sex: female
Hair color: Blond
Eyes color: blue
She is actually the queen of the kingdom, she was being cursed by her own sister who wanted her throne. She loved her sister so much that she can't punish her for what she have done, even when she can get back to her normal form.

Lisa:
Ester's sister, she is the antagonist in this movie. She was a nice woman, until she was left by her fiance. She is actually the one who will get married with King Edward (Ester's husband) but she refused and choose her fiance. She loved her sister so much as well, even sometime she envy her being more loved by their parents. She always give everything her sister want when they was young. But after she feel the betrayal of her fiance, she feel like she need to get back what should be hers. Including the throne. She was just being angry and lost her mind. She even tried to killed her sister with black magic. But when she tried to kill Ester, she remember how much she loved her, what happened next, instead of dying, the magic fail, her sister was trapped into the doll body. (The doll was actually owned by Lisa when she was still a little girl) Afraid that her sister will tell all to the king and made her punished, she continue her plan to kill Ester.

Well, I make Lisa as the evil. But I do believe that antagonist have their own reason of being evil. I do believe no one born as a pure evil. Lisa as example, I made her as someone who actually just choose the wrong path. She can just choose to keep the throne and leave her boyfriend. But she choose to left it to Ester. She can choose to move on but she choose to be evil instead. I just wanted to see whether she will keep going to be evil or will 'choose' to stop and apologize to her sister, Ester. It'sas not a destiny someone being so evil. They just need to choose to be good or not


I DOO DOOOO DOOOOOOOO really want to draw lisa, I already designed her character traditionally, but I'm not sure I have time to coloring it digitally, hopefully I can go home asap and finish it today, since I think lisa character are the most interesting in this movie.
